Being offered an chance to write a
guest post on another blog is an exciting challenge. Suddenly there was a
need to raise standards of literary entertainment as well as
take a lot of care with grammar and punctuation. When doing something
for yourself, there is some latitude with quality, but when it is for
another, personal pride demands a lift in standards because of the
responsibility to the requestor. This is especially so when the
recipient blogger, Farmer Liz, sets a very high level of
presentation and content.
There is no guarantee that what has
been written will meet those standards; but we tried. The opportunity, however, did create an environment in
which it was possible to attempt to improve writing, think more
deeply and review the status quo here at HHF.
Hello John and Jean,
ReplyDeleteI found you by way of Farmer Liz's blog. Your 'about us' sounds a lot like hou we think and are now living. We're just moving to a new 40ac place from 2ac so will be studying your blog and Liz's as well for as much info as we can mine from you both. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

DeleteI very much enjoyed your post. I'm new to permaculture and would like to incorporate it into the 20 acre homestead we began building 20 years ago. I found you on the Simple Saturdays Blog Hop.
ReplyDeleteHi Diane, Lovely to receive your comment. I'm sure you will enjoy learning about and incorporating Permaculture. Regards John and Jean
